Speedwell Farm & Gardens, owned and operated by Cody Jurbala and Melissa Ogilvie, is a thriving venture established in 2017. What started as a creative solution to the challenges of land access for young farmers evolved into a flourishing 1.25-acre farm located at the Treehouse Farm Collective, just north of Boulder, Colorado. Cody and Melissa manage every aspect of the farm, from planting and harvesting to marketing and sales. Their passion lies in providing environmentally conscious, community-oriented food alternatives to mainstream agriculture. Committed to regenerative farming practices, they prioritize soil health through methods such as crop rotation, mulching, limited tilling, composting, and cover cropping. The farm operates with minimal dependence on fossil fuels and machinery, refraining from the use of pesticides or harmful chemicals. Speedwell Farm & Gardens is dedicated to healing and fostering community resilience by connecting people to the source of their food and contributing to a healthier environment.
